“PHISHING” The credit union wants to reiterate to our membership that we will never send you an e-mail requesting any form of personal or account information. We already have your information. Any e-mail requesting this sort of information is fraudulent and should be reported to the credit union immediately. This act is called “PHISHING” where someone wants to obtain your personal information to commit fraud using your personal or account information. Remember to protect yourself by questioning all suspicious e-mails requesting any form of personal or account information. If you've received a phone call or e-mail from an agency stating that they are a partnered mortgagor with New Horizon Federal Credit Union, this is a scheme.
